Chinese coronavirus vaccine now in Mexico

CanSino Bio, the first Chinese coronavirus vaccine, arrived in Mexico last November. With 15 thousand volunteers in various states of the Mexican Republic, the Chinese vaccine against Covid-19 began its phase 3 clinical trials. This vaccine, called Ad5-nCoV, has shown a certain degree of safety in phase 2 and phase 3 from previously developed clinical trials in China. Phase 3 studies of the Chinese coronavirus vaccine will be carried out in health centers in 12 states of the country. In case of positive results, the Mexican government will complete a definitive purchase of 35 million doses of the first Chinese coronavirus vaccine.
