She graduated with a degree in Medicine from the University of Guadalajara, where she also completed her specialty in Allergy and Clinical Immunology. Moreover, as part of her advanced medical training, she completed a clinical fellowship in Food and Drug Allergies at the Hospital Clínico San Carlos in Madrid, Spain, strengthening her expertise in the management of complex allergic conditions.

Skin Allergy Testing
Skin allergy tests are simple and safe studies that identify substances that may trigger allergic reactions. The way this works is by applying small amounts of allergens to the skin, usually on the forearm or back, and waiting a few minutes to see how the skin reacts. Results are available within minutes and help Dr. Escobedo establish an accurate diagnosis and determine the most appropriate treatment for each patient.
Patch Testing
Patch testing is used to diagnose contact allergies, particularly those that cause skin conditions such as redness, itching, or dermatitis. Special patches containing different substances are placed on the patient’s back and left in place for a specific period of time. Dr. Escobedo then evaluates the skin’s reaction to identify the substances responsible for the allergy and provide guidance on treatment and prevention.
