Every year, Hospital CMQ treats thousands of visitors from the U.S., Canada, and other countries in Puerto Vallarta and the Riviera Nayarit. Our doctors and staff speak English, and we bill most U.S. and Canadian insurers directly.

You can reach us on WhatsApp before you even arrive at your destination: we can help verify your coverage, book an appointment, or get you ready for an emergency, instead of figuring it all out once you’re already here.

Where should you go, depending on your need?

• Medical tourism: you’re traveling specifically for a planned medical or surgical procedure.
• Visitor guide: you’re on vacation in the bay and want to know what to do if you need a doctor.
• Vacation emergency: you have a medical urgency right now, during your trip.
• Snowbirds & seasonal residents: you live part of the year here and need ongoing medical follow-up.

How do we work with your insurance?

• We verify your coverage over WhatsApp, usually in under an hour.
• We bill most U.S. and Canadian insurers directly (full list coming soon on our Insurance page).
• If your insurer requires reimbursement instead of direct billing, we provide all the documentation you need in English.

How do I get started?

Message us on WhatsApp before your trip, or as soon as you have a medical need. Tell us what you need and which part of the bay you’re in.

If possible, send us your medical records, prior test results, and a photo of your insurance card ahead of time — it speeds up your care once you’re at the hospital.

What languages do we speak?

Our medical and administrative staff serve patients in English and Spanish. French content for this section is being prepared with a native reviewer; in the meantime, our bilingual team can also help in basic French over WhatsApp.
