Hospital CMQ Fluvial is the new hospital that Hospital CMQ is building on Av. Grandes Lagos, in Fluvial Vallarta, Puerto Vallarta.

The project includes 7 levels, more than 60 patient rooms, more than 7 specialized operating rooms and an adjoining physician building with over 40 consulting suites. Construction is underway, and we publish the progress on this page every month.

Where will Hospital CMQ Fluvial be located?

On Av. Grandes Lagos, in the heart of Fluvial Vallarta, one of the fastest-growing areas of Puerto Vallarta.

The location was chosen for access: it connects directly to the city’s main avenues and shortens the drive from the hotel zone and the international airport, which matters for visitors and residents who need care quickly.

What medical services will Hospital CMQ Fluvial offer?

The hospital was designed so that emergency care, surgery, childbirth and diagnostic imaging are all resolved in one building, without moving the patient between facilities.

Critical care and emergency services

Emergency Department.

Intensive Care Unit (ICU) with 4 beds, for patients who need constant monitoring and life support equipment.

Intermediate Care with 6 beds, for patients who are no longer critical but still need close observation.

Pediatric Intensive Care, for children in serious condition.

Neonatal Intensive Care, for premature newborns or babies who need specialized care.

Surgical and specialized areas

More than 7 specialized operating rooms.

Obstetric surgery and gynecology area, for deliveries and C-sections.

Hemodynamics Unit, where heart studies and procedures are performed through catheterization, without open surgery.

Dedicated Cardiology area.

Diagnostics and imaging

Clinical laboratory.

Imaging department.

2 X-ray rooms.

CT scan, which produces detailed cross-sectional images of the body.

MRI, an imaging study that uses no radiation.

Bone densitometry, which measures bone density.

Mammography, for early breast cancer detection.

How will the hospital be laid out?

Hospital CMQ Fluvial was designed as a complete hospital complex, with a layout that separates the flow of patients, medical staff and visitors.

7 main levels: basement, ground floor, surgical floor, obstetric surgery and three inpatient levels.

More than 60 patient rooms.

Parking for 120 vehicles.

What will patients and their families find?

The hospital experience is part of care as well. The project includes spaces designed for the people who wait and accompany, not only for the person being treated.
