Frequently asked questions

Do I need an appointment for an imaging study at Hospital CMQ?
Yes. Be sure to book your appointment ahead of time, and bring your doctor's order with you on the day of your study.
What is an image-guided biopsy?
A procedure to remove a tissue sample from a suspicious area, using ultrasound, CT, mammography, or MRI as guidance. It's used to confirm or rule out whether tissue is cancerous.
What should I know about contrast material?
Contrast material improves image quality in CT, MRI, and X-ray studies. It's given orally, intravenously, or by enema, and clears from your body within 30-60 minutes. In rare cases it can cause an allergic reaction — tell your radiologist if you have a known iodine allergy.
Do you accept insurance and direct billing?

Hospital CMQ works with national and international insurers and offers direct billing. See how insurance and direct billing work or send us your insurer on WhatsApp to verify your coverage.
