Latidos Fest at Hospital CMQ: A Milestone for Heart Health Awareness

Over 120 People Treated: A Wellness Event for Puerto Vallarta and Bahía de Banderas

In an effort to promote heart health, Hospital CMQ, together with the Salvando Latidos organization, held for the first time in Puerto Vallarta the Latidos Fest. A two-day event dedicated to promoting heart health and raising awareness about cardiovascular care. This event brought together experts in cardiology and provided free medical services for the community.

More than 120 people received free medical attention, including electrocardiograms, blood pressure, height and weight measurements, and check-ups with cardiology specialists. However, Latidos Fest was not only about medical check-ups, it also raised awareness about the importance of cardiovascular health. “This event not only brought quality medical care but also brought hope and wellness to our community,” shared Dr. Yolotzín Anguiano, Salvando Latidos’ team leader.

Latidos Fest is a community-driven event designed to promote heart health through prevention, education, and care. Organized by Salvando Latidos A.C., and in collaboration with Hospital CMQ and Cardio Care, this initiative brought free medical services, including ECG tests, blood pressure measurements, and consultations with cardiology specialists, directly to the community. With an emphasis on prevention and awareness, Latidos Fest offered attendees the tools and knowledge to take charge of their cardiovascular health.

More than a medical event, Latidos Fest is a movement that inspires hope and promotes a culture of
prevention and wellness throughout the region.

Its most recent edition was held in our beautiful Puerto Vallarta and Riviera Nayarit, where more than 120 people received free medical attention at the facilities of Hospital CMQ Premiere and CMQ Riviera Nayarit. Thanks to the leadership of the Salvando Latidos team and the Cardiology Department of Hospital CMQ, this event was a clear example that it is possible to make a significant difference in people’s lives.

Heart Health Awareness: Conferences with Experts

As part of the activities of Latidos Fest, attendees had the opportunity to participate in workshops given by a multidisciplinary team of specialists, including nutrition experts and cardiologists. These medical talks aimed to provide information on healthy habits, prevention of cardiovascular diseases such as arrhythmias, and heart studies such as ultrasound and cardiac magnetic resonance imaging, among others. We are grateful to the experts for sharing valuable knowledge and advice on the importance of taking care of the heart.

In a country where cardiovascular diseases are one of the main causes of mortality, this event was a reminder that caring for your heart should not be an option, but a priority.

Beyond the scale of this event, the true impact of Latidos Fest reflects in the stories of those who came out to participate.
